Reduction Of Administrative Charges Payable By Employer To EPFO
Ministry of Labour and Employment has revised administrative charges payable by employer for the purposes of para 30 and 38(1) of Employees Provident Funds Scheme from 0.85 percent to 0.65 percent of the pay referred to in the paragraphs. Further, no sum shall be payable by employer in relation to his employees as sum payable every month for meeting administrative expenses of the Employees Deposit Link Insurance Scheme.

Singapore Citizens Working in India Exempted From Contribution To EPFS And EPS
The provision for exempting international workers from contribution to local social welfare schemes is enforced through the definition of "Excluded employee" under Para 83 of EPFS. As per this notification EPFO field offices are reiterated that the Singapore citizens working in India purely as temporary workers and who do not hold the status of permanent residents in India are to be treated as "Excluded employee". Thus, they are exempted from contribution to social security schemes in India

Discontinuation Of Revenue Stamps For EPFO Claims Under NEFT
As per EPFO Circular No. Exem/Misc./CBT - Item/2013/Vol-II/32894 dated 07.03.2017, as part of simplifying the settlement claims process EPFO has discontinued the use of revenue stamp on claim forms for claim amount being paid through NEFT. As per Delhi High Court Order in Case No. W.P (C) 12088/2016, the notification for Minimum Wages for Delhi issued as per Notification No. F.Addl. LC/Lab/ MW/ 2016/ 4859 dated 03.03.2017 has been stayed. Thus, until the proceedings are decided in the court the Minimum Wages cannot be considered

Clarification On Delhi Minimum Wages Stay Order
As per Delhi High Court Order in Case No. W.P (C) 12088/2016, the High Court has stated that, in pursuance to the Minimum Wages for Delhi issued as per Notification No. F.Addl. LC/Lab/ MW/ 2016/ 4859 dated 03.03.2017, no coercive steps shall be taken against the Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry of NCT Delhi and its members. Thus, members of the Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry of NCT Delhi shall have no action taken against them if they do not follow the revised minimum wages as per 03.03.2017 notification. However, the employer who are not members of the organisation will have to comply with the revised Minimum Wages. These employers may have to move the High Court for a similar decision if they wish not to comply with the minimum wages

Submission Of Aadhaar As Identity Document By The Pensioners And Members Of The EPS, 1995
As per EPFO Notification No. Pension - 1/17(10)/2016-17/Jeevan Pramaan/32049 the Employees Provident Fund Organisation has observed that as per the gazette notification No. S 26 (E) dated 04-01-2017, which provided instructions to submit Aadhaar or the Aadhaar enrolment ID slip mandatorily along with the claim form under Employee Pension Scheme, it was observed that same is not possible to sanction withdrawal benefit claims in Form 10 C, leading to issues of settlement of withdrawal claims. Thus, the EPFO has decided that the obtaining of Aadhaar should be mandatory for the time being for pension 10 D claims (Submitted by first claimant) and not in withdrawal cases in Form 10 C (To claim withdrawal benefit)
